Once you have experienced Reiki treatment you may wish to learn to use this gentle energy to treat yourself or other people. Anyone can learn how to do this. It requires no special qualifications or abilities at all, only an interest and an open mind.
Christine Sutton is an experienced Reiki Master Teacher registered with the UK Reiki Federation and CNHC. Training begins at Level 1 ((First Degree, Shoden), then continues to Level 2 (2nd Degree, Okuden) when the student is ready.
Reiki Practitioner training has been designed to meet the current Core Curriculum for Reiki, has been verified by the UK Reiki Council and is approved by the UK Reiki Federation. It includes training at Level 1 and then Level 2 plus a period of mentoring, further study, practice and assessment to gain certification as a Reiki Practitioner. Students who complete this course of training, practice and assessment are able to join CNHC and use the CNHC quality mark.
After gaining experience students may later continue on to training at Level 3A (Reiki Master Practitioner) and Level 3B (Reiki Master Teacher) as required.
We also hold a Reiki share group and Reiki mentoring sessions on alternate months. These group sessions allow practice time for development of confidence and experience plus meeting and getting to know other local Reiki people.
Training is given at 4 levels: First Degree - Second Degree - Master 3A - Master Teacher
